Boso Box

Every now and again there comes a long a person that really sets things on its ear.  You know when that one dude comes around with wild ass ideas and the aspirations to actually make those wild ass ideas come to fruition.  James is one of those guys.  James is a die hard Japanese tuning fanatic.  When I say this, I don’t mean that he is just some dude that likes the looks of some of the rides from Japan, I mean that this dude really knows his shit.  Guru status maybe, lol.  Yeah, dude has it down.  So James has all this knowledge, but he lives in the States, what’s he going to do.  Well he is probably going to turn his ride into some super crazy awesome Japanese ride.  Well guess what, that is exactly what James did and has been doing for some time now.

Remember when I was talking about being wild, yeah check that shit.

James has taken his 2005 RS2 xB and completely transformed it.  I mean completely transformed it.  He has gone way past how people here in the US tune their boxes, including myself.  James is shocking the entire xB community with his box and I think it is awesome.

Look at that ass!  bB carbon fiber hatch, bBist tail covers, boso pipes, and if you didn’t notice those super awesome flares.

I am sure that by now you have noticed those massive wheels James is running.  Those are 15×13 -119 offset.  Yeah, that isn’t a typo.  Dude is running 15×13 -119 wheels.  Told you he was nuts.  Those bad boys are Ronal Racing wheels, but that is basically all the info he or anyone seems to have on the wheels.  If anyone reading this knows anything more about them, hit me up so I can pass along the info to him.

Check out that lip.

Two sexy boxes right there.

You might be asking yourself, “What is inside this crazy contraption?”  Well it is a fuzzy mess, lol.  There is a mix of black and yellow fuzzy fabric throughout the interior.  Sadly I could not find any pictures of the interior come time of this post.

The kit is a Spirits kit, straight from japan.  Well straight off of the old bBist xB that rocked it at SEMA.  James says that kit is now seven years old.  He is running that exterior oil cooler.  It’s not a front mount like so many people like to think.  Some say that he is ruining the kit with all the stuff he is doing, but I think he is doing amazingly.  Gotta further the scene and push the envelope.

There are a lot of things being said about James’ box; some good, some not so good.  From what I have seen, there is a lot of hate.  But James doesn’t seem to give a damn.  He is doing this for himself and doesn’t really care that people hate on it.  That’s the attitude that you need to have when you are building vehicles like this.  People just won’t understand.  This box definitely sparks conversation and evokes emotion in almost everyone.

I say, keep up the awesome work man.  I cannot wait to see where you take this beast in the future.  I am sure it will only get crazier and more awesome.  Screw the haters and just do you.
