Okay, I have no idea where this photo is from, where I got it, how it got on my computer, or who took it. I just know that this little Mazda 2 is flying and it is fantastical. Yes it is.
Yes.
Did someone order up a Suzuki Jimmy laying frame?
Order up!
Hubba-Hubba. Not only does this look like a fantastic job at getting this Jimmy on the ground, the body on this thing is immaculate. If you do not like the whole mini truck thing, you have to at least appreciate how great the body looks. Most Jimmies I have seen are beat to holy hell and this one looks brand new. Nicely done sir.
Also: Dat Ass!
While I was on the photographer’s Flickr, I saw another little gem that caught my eye. This Mazda Demio.
If I am reading the photographer’s notes correctly, this is an ’07 Mazda Demio Sport with an ’11 Mazda2 Touring conversion. I tried researching what exactly is the difference and all I can tell (this is just what I can see), the bumpers and headlights are different between the two cars. Either way, this little Demio sporting JLine 5RL2′s looks really good.

Shitty week, sorry ladies. Just enjoy this super sexified Stagea Wagon.
This picture has the makings of greatness. A super sexy and dopesauce worthy Stagea Wagon, an Astro Van lurking in the background and a Mazda Demio nestled in the corner. I like where this is going!

As I sit here rocking out to copious amounts of Katy Perry and A Day to Remember, I am wondering what to post for tomorrow, well today. I could scour the prodigious expanse of my hard drive for something or search the interwebs for hours on end. I do both quite a bit though, I need friends
. So here I am, sitting here and wondering how to become a reality TV star, when something happens. The interwebs alerts me to the existence of something so amazing that I nearly drop my tea. My imaginary tea. My imaginary winter spice tea. It could have been so good. Jerks.
It went like this: I was just sitting down to write the next post and really did not have a damn thing in mind and then I head over to one of my normal forum haunts and this is the second thread on the queue. Just like that. Plus the tea.
Holy Balls.
Holy Balls. Holy Balls.
Holy Balls. Holy Balls. Holy Balls.
Alright. so I think you can understand my astonishment and severe lack of any self-control right now (seriously, I would have totally dropped that imaginary tea). So I decide that I need more, I need to know more! I head over the most likely source for something like this, AutoBlog. They always have the good shit.
And AutoBlog had the good shit, some seriously good shit. Better shit than I had imagined. Like, mad good shit yo. Okay, enough of the good shit. Stop it.
This monster is called a “Mazda 2 Evil Track” and it sure as hell looks like it lives up to its namesake. This car would make Ferrari’s pee themselves and Corvettes run head-long into brick. I love it!
Mazda brought this along with a bunch of track prepped and street prepped vehicles to SEMA this year (I will be posting more on SEMA in coming days/weeks).
I am just going to quote the press release here because it gives you all the info you need to know about this hellion.
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 2, 2010 – Mazda’s product lineup of sedans, sports cars and crossovers offers consumers and exciting choice for their transportation needs; a choice that offers the Soul of a Sports Car in every vehicle. Showcasing the depth and breadth of the brand, Mazda will display a slew of products, each one demonstrating Mazda’s aftermarket capability and potential.
“The versatility of Mazda vehicles is extraordinary. With just minor modifications to a stock Mazda, it can be ready for the track or a car show,” said Derek Jenkins, director design, MNAO. “Our SEMA cars demonstrate this ability; taking a vehicle from the dealership and making it a truly unique piece.”
The newest member to the product lineup is the MAZDA2. With great styling, superb fuel economy and an affordable price tag, the 2011 MAZDA2 subcompact sedan is Zoom-Zoom in its most concentrated form. MAZDA2 is a car that only the engineers at Mazda could have created. It was designed and engineered from scratch to be a pure Mazda, offering the sort of driving experience that could only come from the company that developed the timeless MX-5 two-seat roadster, and it brings a combination of athletic design and dynamic performance to the subcompact class. Mazda Design Americas took two MAZDA2s and created a street car and a track car.
MAZDA Evil Track
The MAZDA2 Evil Track car was envisioned as a fully equipped car for series racing, and all required safety equipment to meet SCCA and NASA competition regulations. This iteration was inspired by the MAZDA2 Evil concept which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2009. The MAZDA2 Evil Track car has an enhanced motorsport aesthetic achieved through Mazda race-inspired graphics and colors.MAZDA2 Evil Track car is equipped with a Mazda Design aero body kit, including side skirts, front and rear air-dam and carbon fiber rear deck spoiler. Modifications include H&R race suspension and coil over kit, AWR full custom safety cage, Sparco Circuit pro seat, steering wheel, safety harness and fire system, AIM MXL Pista data acquisition system, race-tuned Magna-flow exhaust, 949 6UL 15×9 lightweight wheels and 225/45/15 Hoosier race tires.
I really like what I see there. This a fully track prepped and spec’d out ride. Imagine if this thing makes it into any scope of production? If I had the money, I’d be predisposed to pick one up right away. Seriously. I am sure that you noticed the street car that is also mentioned in there. Of course you did, you are OMGP readers for goodness sake. You guys know your business. Maybe.
This is the “Mazda 2 Street” and I must say that I am very much in love with this pseudo-beast. I could do without that awkward two-tone, but I can let that slide because it looks so damn happy.
Here is the “Mazda 2 Street” info from Mazda:
MAZDA2 Street
The Mazda2 Street is a streetwise, urban sport inspired version of the highly successful Mazda2.This new tougher street version is reinforced visually by using smaller diameter light weight 949 6UL 15×9 wheels and wide profile Toyo Proxes RA-1 R-compound tires. The aesthetic enhanced through the use of a light gray, superfine metallic body color and matte graphic accents.
My only gripe about this whole situation, I wish these could have been the two door Mazda 2′s. They look much sexier, but sadly the States does not get them. Damn you Europeans and your fantastic assortment of automobiles! *sad face*
Go to AutoBlog and check out more about this whole line of track beasts that Mazda has trucked to SEMA ’10. I will be keeping a close eye on this!
Today we have a reader submission. My hombre Dwight, no relation to Dwight Shrute, sent me a link to pics of this DAMD Mazda Atenza.
First off, I had no idea the Atenza looked this good. I know it is the same as the 6 here, but something about the new Atenza looks far sexier than the current 6. Second, why the hell do the Japanese get the wagon version of the Atenza still?! WTF America, buy wagons! We could have had this glorious utilitarian sex machine on our shores, but noooooo. Only like seven people bought the 6 wagon when it was offered here and now we don’t get it at all anymore! Shame on you!
I seriously dig the Atenza more than the 6. Mainly because of this here Atenza. I mean, holy testicles, this thing is gorgeous! That front end makes babies doo-doo their pants and old people hop on their scooters and book it.
I’d hit it. You can’t say you wouldn’t do the same. You can’t.
Dat Ass!
Thanks for the tip Dwight!
PS: Sticker purchasing info goes live at 10am today.
I am absurdly swamped with work, exams, projects, presentations, papers, and baby mama drama right now. On top of all that, I am looking for internships and jobs right now. I apologize for the distance at the moment but I have to finish this semester strong seeing as it is my last. The life of a college student: awesome and insane.
I was sent these pics last week by Dave, a loyal OMGP aficionado. I was super surprised at what he sent me, not because they are crazy and creepy, but because I have never actually seen a Mazda 5 with any sort of modification other than children’s snot.
A matte black Mazda 5. I never thought of this combo before, but it looks so good! I think those are Drag DR13′s on there. I am not 100% on that. I actually wanted a set of those way back in the day. Back when I first got my box. I am so glad I stayed with 15′s.
I really have never seen a modified Mazda 5 before and I really like the look of this thing. It’s simple, clean, and black. That sounded weird…
After Dave sent this to me, I alerted him that I had never seen one done up. His response was to send me another 5. This one was also very well done and also very sexified.
No offense to the owner’s here, but I like the style of this 5 much more. The simplicity and sex appeal is what is drawing me to this one.
very nicely done I’d say.
Dat Ass!
I recall that someone had asked to see done up MPV’s when I first started this blog monster. Well here you go guys!
Thanks to Dave for the tip!
I know this is old, like oooooold, even by internet standards it’s old. But I still wanted to post it up. I mean it’s OG Biz Markie with an MPV on BBS wheels. The only way you could be more gangster is if you and Bill Cosby were rolling in the same MPV eating pudding pops and wearing bright ass sweaters. That’s the only way.
Just some of the random stuff I liked from SEMA this year.

A super clean MS3 that looks like it’s all business.

I want to say this is a 5 series wagon, but I really do not know. Euro’s aren’t my area of expertise, but this one is damn nice!

OH HAI!!

’74 Civic race car that looks so badass. This thing looks quick as hell and nimble as fudge.

Do Want.

Shnazzy Prius, I dig it.

Very nice Matrix. The colour is a little weird. It’s like a doo-doo brown with a metallic flake, odd but sexy.

Oh, herro derr.

Never thought I would call a Venza awesome, but this one is definitely pushing me towards saying that.

Kenny B bringing the FIYAH!! Who else would slap their STi on tracks and then go ape shit with it? WHO!? Hope you guys have seen the video.
That’s it for today, ya’ll come back real soon!

Whelp, because I am sorting out the logo situation, dealing with school, and hiding from rogue polar bears I am just going to do a quickie today. That’s right I said quickie.
Enjoy.

Here we have a very sexy and very clean Mazda Atenza Wagon (Mazda 6 in the states). I don’t know much about the Mazdas or their tuning style, but I know this Atenza is drop dead sexy. Aside from it’s ground pounding stance and pretty good wheel fitment, it’s sporting a Mazdaspeed front end. For those that don’t know, the Mazdaspeed vehicles are like regular cars, just better, a lot better. Mainly they are faster and handle better and usually look sexier.
As for the Atenza/6 wagons, I have loved them since they were introduced. I wanted one for a little bit, but I could never part with the Toaster. They are functional and sexy, can’t go wrong with that!
What are your thoughts on this Atenza?
