Scion officially debuted the iQ at the NYIAS press day today. As I had said before, it was the Five Axis creation that was being debuted not the actual production iQ, but awesome nonetheless.

Of course Five Axis did things big, like they always do. This thing looks absolutely sick and is a great representation of what could be done with an iQ. A seriously flared body and super aggressive front end make this iQ pop. Not to mention the lime green paint that was chosen to keep this iQ from blending in anywhere it goes.

That front end looks like it eats babies, I dig it.

That does not look like the rearend of any standard iQ. It looks like it wants to destroy cities with an ass like that.

I love the wheels on this thing. I wonder if Five Axis will produce them…

Would you expect a Scion/Five Axis collaborated vehicle to have a mild interior? I did not think so.

I will be there this Friday so be prepared for lots of pics and lots of info regarding this iQ and many more vehicles from the 2009 NYIAS.
Now it’s still not 100% official that Toyota will be bringing the iQ into the States under the Scion brand, but it seems like they are hinting very strongly to it.
Check out my post on the iQ itself and the leaked pics from before the NYIAS.

I pretty much need this car in my life. Not just any iQ. This one. I’m thinking about giving Troy a call and begging him for it.
You’re probably going to have to do something ungodly to get this from Troy.
love the new iQ and that five axis kit is dopeeee….
once again a good write-up by BigBird!!
